Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Barcelona was a breif stop on our way to spend a week in Girona. It’s characterized as world class city, and by scale and amenities I suppose it is. It did not feel like the rest of the Spanish towns and cities we visited while we were there. Despite my own opinions, it was time well spent as we spent the afternoon and evening exploring the Gothic Quarter, and the harbor. I would love to revisit Barcelona with more time to get off the beaten path…
